Your information

Privacy policy

This policy explains what ThePetCompany collects when you browse our website, reserve a website build, or request a free website audit—and what we do with that information.

Last updated July 16, 2026

Information you give us

When you reserve a website build, we collect your name, email address, grooming business name, selected services, and estimate. You may also share your website, phone number, preferred contact time, and notes.

When you request a website audit, we collect your name, email address, and website. Your business name, phone number, and notes are optional.

If you move forward after a kickoff call, Stripe processes your invoice and payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Our site and service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, referring page, pages visited, and approximate location.

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors move through the site through interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, and session replays. These tools may use cookies or similar browser storage.

Checkout also uses essential cookies to remember your choices and show your saved reservation or audit status in the same browser for up to 14 days.

How we use information

  • Confirm and respond to reservations and audit requests.
  • Schedule kickoff calls and deliver the services you request.
  • Send service emails, reports, invoices, and project updates.
  • Understand which pages are helpful and improve confusing parts of the site.
  • Protect the site, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Who helps us provide the service

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us run the business: website and database hosting, Resend for confirmation emails, Discord for internal lead notifications, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Stripe for invoices and payments.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or customers, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation, audit, project, and communication records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Essential checkout cookies expire after 14 days.

Analytics providers keep information according to their own settings and policies. Microsoft generally keeps standard Clarity recordings for 30 days and aggregated or selected data for longer periods.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Doing so may clear your saved checkout status. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or Microsoft's privacy choices.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@thepetcompany.love. We may need to keep certain records when the law or an active business relationship requires it.

Children and changes

Our website and services are for business owners and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes will be explained clearly on this page.
