Working together
Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the ThePetCompany website and the first steps of working with us. We keep them as direct as the service itself.
Last updated July 16, 2026
Using this website
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter an agreement for your business to use our paid services. Please do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or submit information you do not have permission to share.
The information on this site is general. Details confirmed with you in writing for a specific project—including the scope, final price, invoice, and delivery plan—control if they differ from these website terms.
Website reservations
A website reservation is not a purchase. Nothing is charged when you submit it. We send kickoff times within 24 hours, then use the call to confirm what your website needs, any optional help, the final price, and the next steps.
If we both decide to move forward, we send a manual Stripe invoice after the kickoff call. Payment is governed by the terms shown on that invoice and any written project recap you accept.
Timing and your part
Our usual website timeline is 5–8 business days after kickoff. That timing assumes we receive the information, access, photos, feedback, and approvals needed to do the work. We will tell you if missing materials, new requests, or a third-party service changes the schedule.
You are responsible for making sure the business information, photos, reviews, logos, and other materials you give us are accurate and that you have permission to use them.
Scope and outside costs
The agreed build and any selected add-ons are listed in your project recap and invoice. Work requested later or outside that agreed scope may be quoted separately before we begin it.
Third-party products—such as domain names, hosting, booking platforms, payment services, premium software, or other subscriptions—may have their own costs and terms. We will identify known outside costs before connecting a paid service.
Reviews, revisions, and approval
You review the finished website before it goes live. Revisions within the agreed scope are included before launch. We publish the website only after you approve it. Your written approval means the agreed build is accepted for launch.
Money-back guarantee
If the finished website still does not feel right for your grooming business after revisions, you can ask for the full core website build fee back before approving launch. Transaction processing fees are excluded from refunds.
Read the plain-language money-back guarantee terms for what is covered and how to make a request.
Results and third-party services
We design websites to make your business clearer, more trustworthy, and easier to contact or book. We do not guarantee a specific number of visitors, inquiries, bookings, search rankings, or recommendations from Google, ChatGPT, or any other third party.
Ownership and availability
Your project recap or invoice will identify any project-specific ownership, licensing, hosting, and handoff details. You keep ownership of the original business content and materials you provide.
We work to keep this website available and accurate, but it may occasionally be interrupted or contain an error. To the extent allowed by law, ThePetCompany is not responsible for indirect losses caused by use of this site or a third-party service. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Questions or changes
Email support@thepetcompany.love with questions about these terms or your project.
We may update these website terms as the service changes. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Changes do not replace project terms already agreed in writing unless both sides agree.
